Math Mastery View Description
This program is directed to assist K-6 mathematics teachers. Do your instructors have a strong understanding of the mathematics standards? How about the mathematics strands? Can your instructors tell you which concepts are identified on each grade level? When it comes to common, everyday mistakes, can your instructors identify if it is a mistake due to undeveloped skills, a cognitive challenge, or a culturally underrepresented concept such as estimation? This program involves professional development that provides a thorough understanding of the state's standards, in-class support, and product reviews. By participating in this program, your K-6 teachers learn how to instruct all of the mathematics strands through grade 6 in a constructivist manner.

Challenges Make Champions View Description
Too many educators mentally group special needs students, instead of thinking of each student as an individual with unique needs. In the field of special education, there are many classifications. A student with one classification has very different needs from a student with a different classification. Moreover, each person is constructed very differently; thus, their educational plans should display those differences. The Challenges Make Champions program helps educators gain a better understanding that a disability does not make a person less able. This program combines professional development, demonstration lessons and in-class support to help establish a different philosophy and practice for your staff in supporting every student, including students with special needs.
